Abstract: A new computational method for evaluating the reverse-link interference distribution in a cellular CDMA system is proposed. In particular, a positive feedback effect of the reverse-link closed-loop power control has been taken into account to precisely capture a realistic effect of unequal cell loading on system capacity. It subsequently facilitates computing the frequency reuse efficiency of the cellular CDMA system under unequal cell loading.
